Study Day – Terry Johnson, Prism (2017)
October 4 @ 10:15 am - 4:00 pm
Is this the only play about a cinematographer? We first saw Terry Johnson’s play when it premièred at Hampstead Theatre two years ago. That production (with Robert Lindsay reprising his profoundly moving performance as Jack Cardiff) is being staged at Birmingham Repertory Theatre opening on the previous evening (3rd October) and running throughout the following week before it goes on tour to various venues including Nottingham and Malvern. We shall seek to offer the kind of introduction that will enhance the appreciation of those who might be tempted to visit the Rep. for a rare theatrical experience.
